Football players main position

A player’s main position is based on their match lineups over the past year. If a player plays a specific position in more than 50% of matches during that period, that position is shown as their primary position on their profile.

If a player is transferred to a new club and starts playing a different position, their main position will not change until the 50% threshold is met in the new role.
