Notifications don't work on iOS
If you’re not receiving Sofascore notifications on your iPhone or iPad, follow the steps below to check your settings and fix the issue.
1. Allow Notifications for Sofascore
- Open your phone Settings
- Scroll down to Apps
- Tap on Sofascore
- Tap on Notifications
- Toggle Allow Notifications
- Enable Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners so you never miss an update



2. Check Your Apple ID
Make sure you’re signed in with your Apple ID.
Notifications may not sync properly if you’ve switched accounts or are not signed in.
3. Turn off Do not disturb or Focus mode
To make sure Sofascore notifications aren’t being silenced:
- Open Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen
- Tap the Focus button
- Tap the active mode (for example, Do Not Disturb) to turn it off.
Once Focus mode is disabled, notifications from Sofascore should start appearing again.
4. Open the App After Installation
If you recently installed Sofascore or restored your phone from backup, open the app at least once to activate notifications.
This allows iOS to register the app’s notification permissions correctly.
5. Reinstall the App
If you’re still not receiving notifications, try reinstalling the app to ensure a clean setup:
- Uninstall the Sofascore app from your device
- Restart your phone
- Reinstall the app from the App Store
- Add a live football or tennis match to your favorites and test if notifications are working properly
