Why score corrections appear?

Score updates are sent immediately after a goal to keep notifications as fast as possible, even before the goal is officially confirmed. Sometimes goals are later disallowed because of offside, a foul, or human error during live reporting. When that happens, the score is corrected right away. These quick notifications are accurate about 97% of the time.
